Crossroads Community College

This story is made from the video-journals of Greg, a community college student in developmental and college courses, over six months. His intensive advisor and research-practitioner, Phip Ross, includes clips from their conversations, as well as text from Greg's writing. Inserted are also some "bites" of information about developmental education.

 

The class Greg attends is an accelerated English class that can replace reading and writing pre-requisites for the "gatekeeper" English class, Composition I/ENGL1010.

 

The class provides intensive advising, which is essentially supplemental instruction, for 30 minutes a week.
